At MedCare UK we understand the demands of having the right staff in order to provide the high standard of care delivery to your clients, because we have been in your situation. As an Operations Manager, I have on many occasions had the complexity of trying to balance staffing numbers and skill mix. The importance of staff being well trained was uppermost in my requirements. As a nurse the compassion for excellent care was paramount, as a manager my commitment was to meet CQC standards. All in all, a difficult balancing act.
It was through our personal nursing experiences and the wish to share our passion for excellent care, that MedCare UK was established. Therefore, whether it is recruitment or staff training you require, contact us and we will be pleased to discuss your needs.
We have a dedicated team just waiting to help you.
Christine started MedCare UK following her experiences both as a Registered Nurse and Manager in the health & social care sector. As a student nurse, Christine began her career when Matron ruled the wards, with compassion and commitment being the foundation to nursing. Her principles remain unchanged and she maintains these standards through MedCare UK.
Life often takes us down unexpected pathways, but it is these personal experiences that shape our lives. Our journey took an unforeseen turn when caring for a relative who was diagnosed with Dementia, and understandably this was a very difficult time for us. At MedCare UK we based our foundations on this experience and we made a commitment to improve standards of care for patients. We have great empathy towards anyone working or coming into this sector as there are lots of aspects from recruiting the right staff to more importantly having the correctly trained staff. Providing quality staff when is it really needed is our way of enhancing the care of support to the sector.
In 2002 Christine went into teaching care staff where she found that there was often no real structure to Health Care Assistant training. This lead Christine to develop her own training programme developed in a way that can be suited to all learners and providers.
Her time as Operations Manager for Residential Care Homes allowed Christine to develop into the recruitment sector to assist with employment and staffing. She has played an active role when recruiting from overseas and assisting these staff to settle. In recent years she has actively worked with a University in Italy under the Erasmus Scheme where we have watched Student Nurses develop during their placements. This is a project dear to Christine's heart and it continues to be a success 6 years on.
Recruitment and Training go together in the Health & Social Care Sector. So with the same passion we look towards a way where we can help to improve the care for patients and at the same time develop others just embarking on their career pathway.
Passion for excellence in care is at the heart of MedCare UK.
